Hello Again,

I was going to update my journal on my Photography gallery & tell everyone how excited I was about my new Nikon D40x... But that happiness got shot in the stomache.

Above is a link to an eBay listing that has used this same to print on a mug.

This is worse then before as they stand to profit from an image that is mine. I've contacted eBay & the seller & I'm going to also alert deviantART that this image was stolen from my gallery here.

) holding my most prided drawing!

I was looking for pictures of Rossi's 46 as he uses it on his bike, & typed "valentino rossi 46" into a Google image search

& what do I see? My artwork as the first two results of the search, only the watermark was removed & it had been used in a small graphic that a designer has used to accompany a blog entry of his on his website.

Now, I'd be flattered by this but not only did he edit out my water mark all he's written about the image is:

"Edit: sorry, was totally headbanged by the race, forgot to tell something about the image:46 .used an inked image transformed from a poster, added the official rossi colour ( Yamaha Camel ), picture previously used at my ole’ blogger account."

So where's my credit? I don't appreciate him just using my art however he sees fit without even acknowledging me.

I'm currently typing an e-mail to send, asking for the image to be removed or proper credit given to me & links back to my gallery here.

THE RULES

I can draw pictures from photographs if you want something special for yourself or a loved one, it'd make a unique gift. I also draw celebrities. I haven't tried animals, but I'd be willing to give it a go. I use either pencil or felt tip pen (sorry no colour). I charge between $40 & $70 (AUSTRALIAN) depending on the complexity of the picture & the size you want (A5, A4 or A3 only)(cheaper if you want more then one image drawn, but keep in mind this will extend the time it takes to get it drawn), plus whatever postage it will cost me to send you the final work. Direct bank deposit available for Australians, PayPal only for international sales.
